Mel Goodwin and his staff have successfully operated Goodwin Industrial Electric Limited as a full service electrical contracting business for well over a quarter of a century. Over the years they have worked hard to earn a long list of loyal customers. They have worked throughout all of Western Canada, the Pacific Northwest, and Alaska. Their projects have included complete green field sites, plant additions, plant modifications and upgrades. They have provided technical expertise for trouble shooting and overload relief. Service has been the main component of their success.

provide a safe working environment for our employees we have an active safety program which includes regular safety seminars, tool box meetings, mandatory first aid training, safety incentive programs, and full cooperation with on-site safety programs of both the owner and other contractors.

• Employee training is a regular part of the routine as an

employee of Goodwin Industrial Electric Limited. We haold regular employee meetings with short form courses, as well as a full range of specialty training by outside experts. To encourage our employees to keep abreast of technological advancement, we pay the full cost for any employee to attend any related courses or seminars.

• Employee Productivity is constantly monitored and construction

methods analysed to assure the best possible results.

We employ professional purchasing and tool handling staff to ensure economical and timely supply of materials and tools.

Goodwin has worked under numerous types of contracts as required by various types of projects and custoemrs. Thes include design build to a budget, lump sum, fixed fee, time and material, labour only, or competitive bid. We are pleased to work under any of these circumstances as may best suit the project.
