GLC Controls Inc. is a full service industrial automation, controls and installation company. From our office located in Prince George, BC we offer a full range of products and services tailored to suit our customers every electrical or electronic need.

PLC, OPTIMIZATION, PANELVIEW AND HMI PROGRAMMING

The automation teams at GLC Controls are industry leaders in programming new installations as well as modifications to our customers existing control systems. GLC Controls programming staff are equipped to resolve any of our customers needs with our vast experience in the full array of Rockwell Automation Software and HMI (Computer Interfacing) using C++ and Visual Basic. GLCs programming staff are available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week to better serve our customers un-planned emergencies.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS

GLC Controls provides a complete electrical installation service led by qualified tradesmen. Our electricians are available for all aspects of the trade, either new installation, retrofits of existing control and power distribution systems or maintenance overload and holiday relief.

ALLEN BRADLEY PLC AND AUTOMATION TRAINING

GLC Controls provides levels 1 and 2 certified courses in PLC Programming both for Rockwell A. I. and RS Logix software. As well we provide courses in QB Linear Positioning Modules and Panelview programming.

CSA CERTIFIED PANEL SHOP

GLC Controls Inc. operates a CSA / US certified panel shop, specializing in custom designed industrial control systems. We have completed panel buildups of PLCs, Power Factor Correction Banks, Operator Consoles, VFD & Vector Drives, Soft Starts and Panelview Consoles. Some other projects we have completed would include DCS controls buildups as well as DC Injection and Dynamic Brake buildups. GLC Controls ability to offer a timely customized panel buildup is what sets us apart from our competition.

DRIVE REPAIRS AND COMMISSIONING

GLC Controls employs certified Variable Frequency Drive technicians experienced in the repair and installation of a wide variety of VFDs. We are the distribution, commission and service center in northern British Columbia for Baldor Drives, Soft Starts, Dynamic and DC Injection Brakes. GLC is also the local Cutler Hammer integrator dealing with Drives and Soft Start commission and service for our area. Another service supplied by GLCs repair department is the testing of and repairs to PLC cards and MTS Temposonic products.

INSIDE SALES DEPARTMENT

GLC Controls carries in stock, and is the authorized dealer of a wide variety of product lines including Baldor Motors and Drives, Telco Photoelectric Products and MTS Temposonic products. As well, GLCs sales department is always equipped to supply our customers with other new or experienced products such as Allen Bradley PLC equipment, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Servo Positioning Controls and 1/100hp to 5hp DC Micro Controllers among many others.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

GLCs research and development department takes on a variety of development projects from small monitoring systems to large system designs utilizing custom fabricated circuit boards, intelligent micro controllers, custom reporting software packages and internet websites for remote monitoring. The R & D group at GLC was the driving force behind IBIS Industrial Bin Information System.

PROJECT DESIGN, DRAFTING AND MANAGMENT

GLC Controls offers our customers a wide variety of electrical design and drafting services. Our technicians supply our customers with everything from updating as-built drawings to full control and power design packages. The project management team at GLC Controls is capable of helping our customers with all of their project needs.
