Footmaxx provides the highest quality products and services related to gait and pressure analysis and custom foot orthotics. The Footmaxx System is the only truly computerized gait analysis system that allows the translation of digital patient data to the prescription for custom orthotic devices. To date, over 60, 000 patients have been successfully treated with Footmaxx custom foot orthotics. The Footmaxx forceplate has 960 capacitance pints that scan the foot in motion 30 time per second. The Footmaxx software determines the exact weight and pressure distribution throughout the patients's stride and displays the data as graphical 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional images. The data is sent via modem where it is further analysed by diagnostic software. Metascan. A Gait and Pressure Analysis Report is prepared and, if necessary, a prescription for orthotic is specified. Footmaxx orthotics are customized devices inserted into the patient's shoes in order to: correct abnormal biomechanics, redistribute plantar pressure, or accommodate painful areas of the plantar surface. A Footmaxx Gait and Pressure Analysis Report is an analysis of the patient's gait compared to"normal"gait patterns accepted within the medical community.
