Fairviews business is comprised of two main components:
WISP Manager, an end-to-end hardware and software service, operations and management system, with A comprehensive business, technical and customer support program. This total business solution allows new or existing service providers to use Fairview packaged expertise to emulate a large ISP operation. Service can be deployed quickly, most often using fee-exempt unlicensed radio spectrum. Fairview provides installation, operational, customer and network support services to local operators over the Internet, as nodes on the companys virtual network. This can be done from a single or multiple network operation centers. By deploying point of presence devices in partnership with local institutions or business people, Fairview can apply economies of scale to bring service to locations that would otherwise be uneconomical, much like teller machines extend bank branch operations. Fairview will also deliver value added end-user application services, such as voice over Internet (VoIP), video conferencing and remote data storage, over this virtual network. The Fairview system provides its licensees with a significant competitive cost and expertise advantage over other service providers:
