FGL built the pallet mold for GE Plastic's ALPHA1 project which was, at that time, the largest molding machine ever built, weighing in at 1.6 million Lbs. FGL built the mold for the playground slide which won the 1983 Award of Merit from Design Canada. That same year FGL won the Design Engineering Achievement Award at Plast-Ex. FGL was also the winner at Structural Plastics '88 in the building & construction competition and then again at Structural Plastics '97 in the recycling catagory. We also received the second place award for excellence in innovative design at the 10th annual Structural Foam conference and Parts competition.
