 Conducted an evaluation of the first year of operation of a new specialized health program for seniors for the Fraser Health Authority.

 Coordinated Long Term Care Resident Survey for four facilities within the Fraser Health Authority, including developing and managing an overall project plan, recruiting volunteers to conduct the survey interviews, supervising and supporting volunteers during their training and subsequent work, advising and assisting facility staff involved in the administration of the survey, devising and arranging volunteer appreciation, dealing with issues as they arose, and reporting progress to the Directors and Facility Managers. This project was successfully completed well within the projected timeframe.

 Prepared winning proposal submission for a Vancouver security company bidding on provision of services at the second largest retail/office complex in Canada, and proposal that successfully short listed the company on a bid to provide services at the Vancouver International Airport.

 Assisted company providing advertising specialty items and corporate wear to increase six month revenues by 30%.

 Facilitated the decision making process, development of agreements, contracts and operating policies between three federal agencies, and several non-government organizations and private contractors, to ensure the secure housing and processing of illegally arriving migrants (analyzed issues, devised alternatives, prepared cost/benefit analyses, prepared briefing notes for senior decision makers, interpreted agreements, negotiated contracts, resolved issues, developed policy, advised on security and facility issues, provided advice and recommendations, provided overall project management). This project was successfully completed within a compressed timeframe.

Joanne was responsible for implementing every facet of the survey from recruiting and supporting volunteer surveyors to coordinating scheduling and submitting the results to the provincial surveyors. From the beginning, Joanne was responsible for ensuring the integrity of the survey in all the sites and completed the project with meaningful and well planned volunteer appreciation lunches. She actively liaised with the Managers of five long term care facilities, their site contacts, the FHA QI liaison person, Health Service Directors as well as front line staff.

Joanne was at all times efficient, accommodating and pleasant. Reports were well written and always punctual. She demonstrated outstanding organizational skills, sensitivity to the client group and a strong goal orientation.
