As a new immigrant to Canada from Germany, Helmut Eppich, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, founded Ebco Industries in 1956 as a small Tool and Die shop. Over 40 years that Tool and Die shop became the birthplace of Ebco, an association of companies that specialize in the custom manufacturing of metallic based products and components.
Ebco is a large custom manufacturer specializing primarily in the machining, fabricating, and assembly of large and small components and equipment. Headquartered near Vancouver, Canada - Ebco's facilities include 300, 000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space - including advanced CNC machines, large steel and alloy fabrication and welding equipment, and lifting capabilities to 180 tons. The company serves a wide range of corporations in North America and around the world including pulp and paper and mining companies and the power generation, offshore oil production, aerospace, defence, and medical industries.
CAPABILITIES
Ebco is best known for its great diversity in skills and capabilities. We manufacture a wide range of products, from large, 65 foot long spar webs for aircraft to small stamping dies. And Ebco's highly skilled workforce has demonstrated its versatility by assembling and testing Demag mining shovels as well as fabrication thousands of light poles.

Ebco Industries provides custom machining, fabricating and assembly capabilities for customers in the natural resources, power generation, offshore oil production, and defence industries.
Advanced Cyclotron Systmes Inc. designs and manufactures a family of highly advanced cyclotrons that are built to be extremely dependable and simple to operate.
Each of these companies, and each division within them, is set up as an autonomous business unit, allowing the customer to work directly with the professionals responsible for their project. Additionally, each business unit has at its disposal, the expertise and capabilities offered by the other businesses. That means, for example, that Advanced Cyclotron Systems Inc. can go directly to Ebco Industries to have their cyclotron magnets and vacuum chambers manufactured. QUALITY ASSURANCE
With uncompromising attention to detail and strict tolerances, Ebco is certified to ISO 9002 standards. Ebco's quality assurance staff are certified and equipped to ensure that your quality requirements are maintained at every stage of the manufacturing process.
Ebco's inspectors are certified to ASNT level II for non- destructive testing using liquid dye penetrant and magnetic particle inspection. Inspectors are also certified by the Canadian Government Inspection Board in Non-destructive testing techniques, as well as AWS and CWB welding inspector techniques. Our inspectors are responsible for the supervision of sub- contracted radiographic and ultrasonic inspections of welds. For pressure vessels, we adhere to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code, and as an ASME certificate holder, we can apply the U and U2 stamps.

HEAVY MACHINING & ASSEMBLY
The Heavy Machining Division offers a wide range of machines and machining skills to handle the most demanding requirements. From nuclear shield valves to steel housings, Ebco's Heavy Machining Division has the capabilities to produce precision made, high quality products.
LIGHT METAL FABRICATION
LMF specializes in the fabrication, machining and assembly of products which are built of lighter to medium weight metals. Ebco LMF is one of only two Boeing approved tooling vendors in Canada. LMF produces assembly jigs and fixtures, drill and locating jigs and other tooling items for Boeing and other aircraft industry companies.

Ebco began as a small Tool and Die shop in 1956. Ever since, the Tool and Die shop has remained the entrepreneurial core of Ebco - combining engineering and product design services with exceptional ability in producing high precision components for the electronics, transportation, aerospace, computer, hospital, and educational industries. The Project Management Institute's Project of the Year award for an extremely complex cyclotron project in a tight time frame and McDonnell Douglas performance rating of a perfect 1000 points. So it comes as no surprise that Helmut Eppich, founder and CEO, was recognized as an Entrepreneur of the Year by B. C. Business Magazine. Light Metal Fabricating Division Wins Two Awards from Boeing One from Boeing Commercial 777 for performance in delivery of a critical tooling job ahead of schedule. The other was from Boeing Defence and Space Group, Sea Launch for delivery of a complex tool, once again ahead of schedule.
