E. T. M. Industries Inc. was started in Renfrew Ontario by company founder and Vice President Edward Legree in 1977. The business began life as a Tool and Die Shop serving local industry. 2 manufacturing plants have 55, 000 sq/ft total. CNC machining in one plant, plastic injection molding, tool design, toolroom & offices in second plant. Company has 25+ CNC machines producing complex and precision parts for Aerospace, Automotive and Telecommunication Industries. Machining high volume multi-year orders is a specialty. CAD/CAM Design is done in-house. Tool Room employing skilled tradesmen produce Machining Fixtures, Assembly Jigs, Dies, Custom Metal Cutting Tools, Plastic Injection Molds. Toolroom has own CNC machines and both Die Sinking & 5 Axis Wire EDM machining. Prototypes are made in Metals, Plastics and other materials. Plastic injection Molding is performed on machines ranging from 28 to 250 Tons. Most parts are molded for Aerospace, Automotive and Telecommunication customers. Most plastics are engineering resins. ie. ABS, Polycarbonate, Polyester and Glass filled Nylons. New Molding and Assembly Facility opened adjacent to current plant in fall of 1998. Facility have 22, 500 sq/ft for molding and auxilary processing. Local industry provides Printed Circuit Board manufacture, Electronics Design as support to our company. Quality Department registered to ISO 9001-2000 quality standard & upcoming Boeing AS9100 registration in Nov. 2002. Measuring equipment includes 2 Co-ordinate Measuring Machines with capacity in x-y-z of 63' - 36' - 24'. US Sales Reps. in Cleveland Ohio, Syracuse. E. T. M. Industries currently employs 75 people on a full time basis.
