In the mid 1990's I realized a need for the use of aluminum extrusions in the automotive and recreational sectors. I designed a set of aluminum extrusions to fit together for the every day person to use to create decks for all their needs. Since originally I am not a manufacturer, I attempted to work with local businesses through our local Economical Development Office, I found very little assistance/support with this approach so I went ahead as an individual to create my own proto-types and developed sales from Windsor through Kitchener, Ontario to where it became too much for myself as an individual to carry on. My products as viewed on my website at: has an endless amount of applications; ie. light and medium duty utility truck and trailer decks, ideal for the environmentally friendly swimming and boat docks for our thousands of small inland lakes.
I developed my product lines in the mid 1990's to the point where my sales were doubling annually, I have had a market study completed, which agreed to everything I was saying. I want to produce high quality aluminum products at a minimal cost for the every day handy person to use in the automotive and recreational sectors.
I had sales from Windsor through to Kitchener, Ontario with repeat clients, I have yet to have a negative comment on my product lines. I guess my biggest disappointment is the fact that more Canadians will not do more to support their own citizens and protect the environment.
I have received compliments from the Ministry of Natural Resources indicating that my floating anodized aluminum docks linked with the 'DOW CHEMICAL' buoyancy billets makes a trully environmentally friendly floating apparatus with very little impact to the lake or river bottom.
