Dual Spiral Systems Inc. is a manufacturer of high quality blown film lines and components.
We rely on years of research and development and manufacturing experience to provide plastic processors with innovative products and solutions that increase their profitability. After extensive product testing we feel confident that our unique equipment designs live up to our claims of high performance blown film extrusion and and blow molding systems.
We specialize in extrusion die from 1 to 11 layers, and high performance feed screws. Our patented Dual Spiral System die is a major break through in blown film extrusion technology. The main focus of our company is to provide customers with blown film extrusion equipment that performs like no other systems available with a pricing structure that will leave you pleasantly surprised.
Our expertise does not just lie in producing extrusion systems that exceed your expectations. We strive to improve customer satisfaction and continually push the limits on what can really be achieved through process optimization and improvements.

Dual Spiral Systems has developed an innovative blown film extrusion die (DSS) that doubles the number of layers that can be extruded in a polymer film. Processors can realize a two-fold increase in the properties of the films they produce.

Of primary importance to co-extrusion film producers is the gauge deviation of the overall film and of individual layers. One of our customers has reported the gauge deviation measuring from the highest to the lowest peak of +/- 5% (2Sigma) on a 65 micron Nylon/polyethylene film. The nylon layer distribution by itself was determined by running the DSS without the adhesive layer. This gauge distribution did not exceed +/- 6% (2Sigma) with the nylon layer thickness at 29 microns. Finally, the DSS was run with all three layers processing fractional melt LDPE. The gauge distribution was +/- 4.6% (2Sigma) at 65 microns. The customer considered these results exceptional, and much better than what his current machines were producing. These results were determined though an automatic off- line film thickness profiler supplied by Octagon Process Technology GmbH of Germany.

Plastics extrusion can be profitable if your process is properly optimized to operate in an efficient manner with minimum down town. We specialize in optimizing extrusion processes by changing process variables and recomending equipmemnt modifications or enhancements.
K05 reduces the COF of melt flow surfaces, which results in the ellimination of melt fracture in extrusion lines.
