Coreco's imaging boards are used by a number of OEMs to inspect industrial processes in a variety of applications. Industrial inspection is the verification of products during and after the manufacturing process. These systems monitor manufacturing processes and report the result to an operator. The main task is the ability to measure, feature or detect flaws of the product being manufactured for evaluation by the operator. Unlike machine vision systems, industrial inspection systems do not make decisions and are not required to perform tasks in real-time.
Surface-Inspection:
Coreco's technological leadership and cost- effective imaging solutions have produced solutions for machine vision OEMs serving container and label inspection, bottle inspection, wafer inspection, PCB inspection, metal fabrication, textile, food and pharmaceutical inspection (quality control), wood and plastic inspection, glass inspection, and dimensional and shape verification markets, to name a few.
Coreco's DSP-based imaging and camera expertise has resulted in the develop-ment of numerous custom solutions for image acquisition and processing. Our OEM applications group works hand in hand with customers during critical phases of the product development cycle to ensure their success.
Off-Line Inspection:
Off-line inspection requires precise measurement. The product quality can be verified using image processors from Coreco to help machine vision developers automate the process of precise dimensional measurements. This ability to measure and record the characteristics of manufactured goods is vital to incoming inspection applications, where quality and traceability are essential. Previously arduous or impossible tasks can be performed by automated off-line gauging systems developed using Coreco's image processing boards, improving overall quality, productivity and competitiveness.
