While presenting a map interface as the primary means of user interaction, Cuesta GeoPortal incorporates an extensive toolset for publication of tabular and file based data. These data include enterprise database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc), MS Access and ODBC data sources, word processing documents, imagery etc. Cuesta GeoPortal is entirely thin-client, requiring no plug-in or software other than a standard web browser for users to access and interact with GeoPortal based web sites.. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Land Information Ontario ShowCase Ontario Innovation Award Land Information Ontario won an innovation award at ShowCase Ontario for the Open GIS Consortium (OGC) connector developed by Cuesta. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2001 ESRI Business Partner of the Year ESRI Worldwide Business Partner Conference, 2001, Partner of the Year Award. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2000 Weyerhaeuser Saskatchewan ESRI Canada Award of Excellence Weyerhaeuser Canada won the Award of Excellence for the Timberlands Information Management System (TIMS). TIMS was designed by Cuesta and Weyerhaeuser Saskatchewan staff. The development work was done by Cuesta using ESRI's ArcObjects, ArcSDE and Oracle. Visual Basic was used for the user interface and the business logic. ------------------------------------------------------------ 1999 Dept. of Indian Affairs & Northern Development Regional Director General Circle of Excellence Award The Geology Division of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development for the Northwest Territories was awarded the RDG's Circle of Excellence Award for the NORMIN project designed and developed by Cuesta Systems Inc.
