Terry Coyes, Principal Consultant of Coyes & Associates International, works both independently and together with associates to provide research, design, planning, project development & management, facilitation and training services in the area of economic development. Clients include individual businesses, business associations and government. Prior to establishing his company in 1997, Terry worked for Western Economic Diversification where he focussed on the development of the International Trade Personnel Program. Combining experience in trade with practice in Aboriginal business development, Terry is involved in the growing area of indigenous to indigenous trade. Possessing a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta (1990), Terry obtained his Certified International Trade Professional designation from The Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) in 1999 and, in 2001, obtained the Aboriginal Economic Developer designation from the Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers (CANDO).
