In the Southeastern shores of New Brunswick, the tradition continues... Fresh herring from the cold Atlantic waters is being cured and smoked at Botsford Fisheries Ltd.
In the early 1950's, the family began processing smoked herring products for the West Indies market. The President, Mr. William Leblanc became very active in the firm and acquired the business in the 1960s. Through concentrated efforts to have his company become the industry leader, automatic smokers were installed to permit the company to compete on global markets. The company has shown continuous growth ever since it was incorporated in 1979. You will find the Botsford name on products distributed throughout the United States, Europe and the West Indies.
As a company policy, we aim to develop a relationship of mutual trust with our clients, enabling us to work jointly to satisfy their needs in a timely, effective way. We have fully implemented the HACCP plan, which warrants the products we market.
