AMPHENOL CANADA CORP. supplies high reliability filter connectors to the major military contractors in the U. S., Canada and worldwide. These connector systems are designed using the latest state-of-the-art technologies to mitigate the effects of EMI (electromagnetic interference) and EMP (electromagnetic pulse) in various aerospace applications such as military aircraft, shipboard, missile, communications and gun control electronic systems. Through the use of patented processes, these connectors provide a unique stress isolation feature to ensure their ruggedness while providing the required electrical performance to meet strict military specifications.

In addition to aerospace products, AMPHENOL CANADA CORP. also designs and manufactures filter connectors for commercial applications in telecommunications and computer systems. These connectors provide filtering for EMI and ESD (electrostatic discharge) energy to protect system internal circuitry and to reduce interference emanating from the system. As in aerospace designs, stress isolation concepts are incorporated to ensure the ruggedness of these devices while meeting the electrical requirement of FCC (Federal Communications Commission) specifications.

AMPHENOL CANADA CORP. has been able to capitalize on its unique product capabilities and grow the business despite a worldwide recession environment. Major growth was achieved by developing new products aimed at high growth markets such as Local Area Network applications. In addition, new technologies were developed for commercial and military aircraft application to protect avionics systems from extraneous interference.
