Automated Assembly Machines Specialist in seal assembly automation. Original Equipment Manufacturer / Systems Integrator. Stations - Stand-alone dedicated machines - Systems
Amara Company's success began with our introduction of Expand-O- Ring, the benchmark solution that has stood the test of time, technological advance, and increasingly diverse and demanding applications. Out of that first simple, effective solution, The Amara Company has developed a comprehensive range of seal- assembly machines which respond to the specific automation needs of a wide variety of industries. Amara machines around the world are meeting customers' requirements for increased through-put, reduced component cost, elimination of mundane operations, ease of assembly, ergonomic safety, assembly verification, and Quality Assurance.
Amara is a customer-driven company. Every machine we build is designed to solve the specific seal-assembly requirements of the individual customer. And every in-house Amara capability has evolved in response to customers' evolving needs. Our end-to- end, turn-key expertise incorporates computer-aided design, complete program management, full engineering concept and design, electrical, control engineering, tooling, final assembly, and testing.
Our product is custom designed to fulfill your needs; from stand- alone, semi-automatic, operator-fed work station for single or multiple seals... to full-automation systems for seals and other small sub-assembly components... to seal-assembly stations with transition tooling integrated with your production system, we have the solution for you.

STANDARD MACHINES Automated Assembly/Seal Assembly Specialists
We call them our Standard-machines, yet we've never built two the same. Even our simplest machines are custom-built to solve each client's particular requirements for an affordable, operator-fed, ergonomically-friendly stand-alone station to handle one or two-ring assemblies. The machines can be tooled to accommodate all types of 'O' ring, including large rings. They are particularly suitable for assemblies with odd- shaped parts. Like every machine we build, our simplest machines are designed in modular format to provide optimal flexibility and greatly extend the machine's life expectancy.
AUTOMATED MACHINES Semi-automatic machines
Every one is an original, designed to deliver specific solutions. We will build machines that will enable you drive efficient, predictable, consistent production gains. If you need semi- automated assembly, we'll collaborate closely with you to design the machine that meets all your shop-floor requirements and realities. Your machine may require sensing options... multiple seal assembly... vertical or horizontal assembly access... internal or external assembly. Whatever form and function your machine requires, it will be built with all the innovative simplicity, precision, reliability, and long life that are the hallmarks of every machine that has left our shop.
INTEGRATED MACHINES Production-line work stations
Fully automated, fully integrated... but still simple and utterly dependable. Our fully- automated stations are designed to integrate seamlessly with your production operation. We put a lot of front-end time into designing for the ideal fit with the machine's physical and human environment, and the input of your production people is invaluable in determining optimal performance features. You identify the need. We create the solution, to deliver the highest levels of efficiency, consistency, and downright dependability.
FIXTURING & TESTING Fixturing and Testing machines
For more than 30 years, we have remained focused on what we know and do best in seal assembly. Our customers tell us that nobody does it better. However, they also tell us they need other innovative solutions, developed and built to Amara's uncompromising standards. Responding to their needs has led us to design sophisticated, simple machines for fixturing, assembly and testing.
Results from the real world of production in many industries show that, compared to manual assembly, a standard Amara machine increases productivity from approximately 600 parts per hour to 2000-plus parts per hour.
