Alcan Cable is a division of Alcan Aluminium, Ltd., Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The company manufactures aluminum rod (electrical and mechanical), bare aluminum and insulated aluminum conductor. The principal products are;
- NUAL aluminum building wire, ACUWU90, and TECK 90,
- Transmission conductor ASC, AASC, ACSR, and

The Cable Division, headquartered in Atlanta, with Canadian sales offices in Calgary, Montreal and Toronto, has three plants across Canada, Lapoint, Bracebridge and St. Maurice, and four in the United States, all equipped with the latest technology. The Cable Division manufactures electrical grade rod as well as a full range of bare electrical conductors, overhead and underground cables for the utility market and building wire and armored cable for commercial, residential and industrial applications.
Alcan Cable has seven manufacturing plants and a central warehouse in North America all of which have quality management systems which are registered to at least ISO 9002 and CSA Z299.0 or NMX CC-4 for the Canadian or Mexican marketplace where appropriate. In addition, the Alcan Cable Technology Center in Williamsport, PA has a quality management system, which incorporates all aspects of cable design, and it is registered to ISO 9001.
