Accu-Fab Metal Products Ltd., was created in 1993 after functioning as a Manufacturing/Mechanical Contractor under the parent company since 1980. The demand for specialized metal, non-ferrous metal and fiber-reinforced plastic manufacturing arranted the establishment of a separate and independant manufacturing facility. As of 1993, Accu-Fab has expanded previous industry services to include the quarry/mining sectors as well as commercial, industrial construction and Pulp & Paper industrial environment control. Specialized fabrications and custom designs are now providing solutions to the customized demand. Accu-Fab serves domestic markets and has initiated export market assessments for international recognition of services. At present, negotiations are under way for the fabrication and delivery of customized ventilation systems for the Havana Airport, Cuba. This project will be the largest export venture to date. With prospects such as Havana Airport, Accufab hopes to gain recognition as the Canadian supplier of prefabricated ventilation systems for project around the globe.
