AURORA bar code technologies is a data collection integrator. We supply software and hardware for collecting various forms of data. The automated data collection technology includes bar code, magnetic strip, smart card, radio frequency data communications and other technologies. This technology has been implemented in a number of health related applications including scanning specimen test tube labels in the labs, scanning the new ISBT128 on blood bags and providing the printer and labels for the above applications. Examples of automated data collection include the tracking of inventory in the stores/warehouse, and inventory counts of supply cabinets at nursing stations.
