AT & A (Advance technology and assembly) was established in 1987 to provide to the electronics industry, manufacturing techniques in printed circuit board assembly requirement at competitive prices, high quality levels, and rapid turnaround time.
The company was formed in partnership with mechanical, industrial and electrical engineers with many years of expertise in the electronics manufacturing industry utilizing the latest state of the art equipment.
In order to provide very high products to our customers we apply MIL-STD-105D. This standard has been approved by the Department of Defense Washington 25D. C and is used by the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Defense Supply Agency. Also applied is standard IPC - 610 and ISO 9002.
AT & A recognizes that advances in the I. C industry make it imperative that all components and finished products must be protected against damage from the moment goods are received right up to when they are shipped. Our manufacturing area has been designed to provide this protection.
In addition, because of the high value of electronic components a comprehensive security system is installed.
AT & A presently can provide plated - through hole assembly services as well as surface mount assemblies utilizing the latest state of the art equipment such as pick and place with fine pitch placement capability, zoned convectional Reflow, and Screen Printing Machines.
It is the interest of AT & A to be regarded as an extension to manufacturing facilities who are at capacity and or do not have the facilities or equipment for such services.
Small, medium and large production quantities as well as prototypes are welcome and are treated with the same care, precision, and quality standards.
If required and requested completed printed circuit board assemblies may be packed individual anti-static bags as well as partitioned cartons to ensure damage free delivery.
AT & A is ideally located in the Hi-Tech industrial section of Pointe Claire, Quebec, approximately 15 km from downtown Montreal and is adjacent to the Trans Canada Highway with close proximity to Dorval and Mirabel Airport.
As well as being situated close to major Hi-Tech clients the location is suited for truck, train and air traffic to provide for delivery to all major cities in meeting their JUST - IN TIME (JIT) requirements.
