ALDS Inc. develops, designs and manufactures advanced assistive listening and communication devices for hard of hearing, deafened and deaf people. Currently, we have eight unique products which are distributed throughout North America and Europe: a range of infrared transmitters and receivers for different listening conditions, a telephone handset/inductive loop communication system tester, a telephone training system for hearing aid and TTY users, and a computerized note-taking system. We are spending up to one-third of our annual budget on research and development and we continually evaluate new methods and develop innovative devices to improve the quality of life for hard of hearing, deafened and deaf people. To keep ourselves at the forefront of assistive listening technology and its effective use, we maintain a close relationship with consumer groups, professional associations and university researchers.
