Technologies: Primary area of expertise is in process and pressure vessel technology. 3-L has alliances with leading manufacturers of filtration media for specific process applications. 3-L can effectively combine the process expertise of this wide range of products and services with its own specialized skill in custom process pressure vessel designs. To further compliment its technical designs, 3-L filters employs experienced welders qualified to weld a wide range of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and specialty steels. The engineering group can undertake complete wind, seismic and stress analysis of pressure vessels and piping.
Business Activities: From its original position as a petroleum industry supplier, 3-L Filters is currently active in three main market segments: Commercial Filtration, Candu Nuclear applications and Environmental Water Remediation. The company engineers, fabricates and tests single vessels and process systems at their facilities. 3-L has exported equipment to countries such as South Korea, China, Qatar, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, Israel and India.

3-L Filters, in conjunction with Velcon Filters (USA), has developed a used cartridge recycling program within Canada. Spent cartridges are dismantled and the various components reused/recycled instead of being discarded to local landfills. FILCare service provides a convenient, cost-effective and environmentally-sound method of disposing of used aviation filter cartridges. Everything required to ship used filter cartridges will be supplied: boxes, labels and waybills, freight charges are included within Ontario. Only cartridges with residues from JET A, JET A1, JP5, JP8 and diesel will be accepted.

When stream contaminant loading is high, the Cyclone offers a cost-effective solution to removing particles 25 microns and larger.
