Zakron Industries, Inc. is an SR & ED facility that manufactures CNC multi-axis gauging systems for pressbrakes and shears. In order to compete in a global marketplace, Zakron has developed a flexible motion control technology including an efficient patented linear guiding system. Zakron's efforts over the past years have put us at the industry forefront and has opened up new possibilities utilizing these newly developed tools. As well as providing both manufacturing and R&D jobs, Zakron has become well known in its efforts to produce better low-cost, high-tech products.
Since 1984, Zakron has been the only manufacturer that produces all of its own electronic devices and control systems utilizing high frequency switching techniques and PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) power technology. Only today are some competitors approaching the 25 kHz switching speeds Zakron has enjoyed for the past 10 years. Nonetheless, Zakron is continually looking at making state of the art technology.
Zakron manufactures more than 75 different varieties of backgauges and controls, all dependent upon the specified application and/or budget requirements. Zakron also is the only gauging company in North America that has a continuing R&D program determined to provide the latest technology at the most affordable prices. Zakron is very proud to announce a major achievement in obtaining a substantial US Patent in regards to pressbrake gauging and motion control. This further proves that our commitment to the future is sincere and that the dedicated staff at Zakron will provide long term service support and new product opportunities for the future.
