Corporate Profile
Xincon Technology Institute (Canada) is a licensed Private
Vocational School (approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education
and Training. We are conveniently located at King and Yonge
Street (just steps from the King Subway Station) in the center
of downtown Toronto. Our school utilizes an area of 10,000
square feet, which includes 11 air-conditioned classrooms and
laboratories.
Xincon was established in 1993 and is presently operating four
locations in Canada and the United States, with a fifth
expansion in the works. Xincon Technology Institute (Canada) is
an authorized A+ Service and Training Center, Microsoft
Certified Solution and Systems Provider, Lotus Desktop Training
Center, and a CISCO Training Provider. Xincon is also an
authorized Sylvan Prometric Testing Center. At the Center our
students and the public can take a full range of I.T. exams and
receive globally recognized certificates.
Xincon offers flexible scheduling to our corporate clients,
including weekend, daytime and evening courses. We are able to
set-up separate classes for groups of corporate clients if
requested. This provides our corporate accounts the freedom to
meet any commitments and responsibilities they have while they
acquire the training and knowledge from our school. Corporate
and government agencies alike, Xincon has been the training
provider for TV Ontario, Coca-Cola, CIBC, Compu-Center, Cable
and Wireless HKT, Ontario Hydro, AT&T, Royal Bank and more.
We would like to highlight one of our many strong areas of the
School that may be of interest. Xincon has acquired over
$200,000.00 US of CISCO equipment and have more than 25 CISCO
2500, 3600, 5000 Routers, ISDN Simulator, 5000 Switch, 2924
Switch and Voice, ATM Module. It is equivalent to a CISCO CCIE
Lab (in Canada). Only a few companies have such strong
equipment. Our instructors all come from well-known companies
and have excellent teaching styles. We have students come from
the Dalhousie University CISCO Lab to train at Xincon CISCO Lab
while working in Toronto.
Xincon encourages the corporate sector to get involved in
helping young students get a fair start in the work force.
Graduates from any IT Institute faces the conundrum, “no
experience without a job/no job without experience.” Students
need the hands-on experience that a co-op, internship, or
volunteer program could be offered by the corporate sector. If
you have such a project or would be willing to get involved in
some way, please speak to our company representative. Please
help our students get their first job experience that is so
important.
