Cedar Longhouse

Gift Shop gift shop carries quality Native art and jewellry, books, carvings, handcrafted souvnirs and crafts and logo items

Public Tours visitors are given a fully guided tour of the 9000 year old ancient village site that features a sacred transformer stone and 'British Columbia's Oldest House' and learn about First Nations history, culture, archaeology and spirituality

Workshops Xa:ytem conducts workshops in Salish weaving, cedar basketry, wooden mask carving, drum making, papermaking, soapstone carving, stenciling, and beading

Overnight Programs visitors sleep-over in the longhouse or in a pithouse and are provided a number of First Nation activities and experiences including tradition Salmon barbecue hands-on cultural program and archaeology program and learning a First Nations craft

Pithouses visitors tour the underground circular dwellings and experience how the First Nations people lived for thousands of years

Facility Rental groups or organizations can rent space in a traditonal cedar longhouse or in one of the pithouses
