Writers Guild of Canada
The Writers Guild of Canada is a national association that
represents more than 1,800 professional screenwriters working
in English-language film, television, radio and new media production in Canada.
It is affiliated with la Societe des auteurs, recherchistes,
documentalistes et compositeurs (SARDeC), the guild representing
French-language screenwriters in Canada. As well, it is affiliated
with the Writers Guild of American (East and West), Australian
Writers Guild, Writers Guild of Great Britain, and the Writers
Guild of New Zealand.
