A private, non-profit organization, the World Trade Centre
Montral (WTC Montral) was established by the Board of Trade of
Metropolitan Montreal with the goal to assist businesses who
want to expand into foreign markets.
WTC Montral is at the heart of a private network of World Trade
Centers present in some 350 major cities worldwide and comprising 500,000 members in more than 100 countries.
Our mission:
To foster the export of products and services by supporting,
training and advising companies, associations and economic
development institutions and organizations in their activities
on international markets through an integrated programme of export
solutions. Our export services are as follow: training workshops
in international trade, development of export strategies and
trade missions abroad.

Development Of Export Strategies
The export strategies development service of the WTC Montral,
offers exporters solid and quality support in their efforts to
conquer foreign markets by making them better aware of their
strengths and weaknesses, by establishing a plan on how to
penetrate this new market, by obtaining first hand pertinent
business and market information, and finally by identifying and
qualifying prospective intermediaries in order to sell their
products in this market. - Services offered: export readiness
diagnostic, export plan, trade representation and identification
of intermediates.
These two services aim at enhancing companies chances of success
in international trade.
Training Workshops In International Trade
Training workshops in international trade are organized through
an annual calendar of more than 50 training workshops divided
into 6 theme-based modules. Guest speakers specifically selected
for their expertise and reknown work closely with the WTC
Montral to provide training sessions on major practical
aspects in international trade and tailored to your needs and
experience level on international markets . The 6 themes are as
follow: First steps in exporting; The international marketplace;
Export financing; Legal and fiscal issues of international trade;
International marketing and finally, Special edition and
workshops offered in collaboration with the ministry of Industry
and Commerce.
