Workplace Solutions provides professional recruiting and human resources consulting services to organizations throughout the GTA.

Lucille Conlon is the founder and President of Workplace Solutions. She has been described as an outgoing, innovative professional who often searches for new ways to solve problems. She is someone who can always be counted on to complete what she starts, no matter how difficult the task.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the recruiting and human resources industry, including account management, sales management, recruitment supervisor, and human resources management working with multinational corporations and privately owned Canadian companies.

She has headed up countless recruiting assignments covering a broad range of industries, including one project involving the screening and interviewing of several hundred candidates in order to staff a new location for a high-end retailer. Lucille was subsequently responsible for hiring and the orientation of approximately 200 employees within a 3-week time period.

Her firm has handled many projects for clients that included developing HR policy manuals, employer handbooks, job descriptions, employee orientation booklets, and performance appraisals.

Lucille further sharpened her skills by successfully completing a Train the Trainer program and meeting the requirements to train and conduct meetings as a Supervisor and Team Leader. She has facilitated a number of training programs as well as created and facilitated workshops on performance evaluations, effective hiring and selection, effective leadership, empowering employees, motivation, successful communication, progressive discipline and termination, time management, cold calling and sales techniques, and customer service.

In 1997, Lucille successfully completed the necessary requirements and was recognized as an individual development counsellor. She has also conducted all research and was responsible for developing an employee outplacement package and career-counselling program. Over the years, Lucille has been mentor to many people during their job searches and career changes. She has helped them to recognize their individual strengths and achievements, prepare resumes and compose covering letters, and has coached them in preparation for their job interviews.

She currently sits on the Board of Directors as President and Vice President of two independently operated corporations in Oakville.

Lucille initiated Workplace Solutions because of her strong desire to assist companies and their employees in realizing their goals. Her success stems from the underlying principle that trusting business relationships are built by listening to client concerns and by developing innovative solutions while providing exceptional service to all involved.
