WEST-CAN INSPECTION LIMITED is a private company incorporated in 1969 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

West-Can Inspection Limited provides an Inspection and Non- Destructive Testing and Failure Analysis for the detection and evaluation of materials relative to their quality and condition through our mobile and laboratory facilities. Our Technicians are certified to CGSB, SNT TC-1A and MIL STD 410 in Radiography, Ultrasonics, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant and Eddy Current Testing.

We serve all industrial sectors associated with manufacturing, fabrication, construction, mechanical system maintenance and aerospace.

In recent years, we have focused a significant portion of our operations on Aerospace (Radiography of solid fuel rockets) and Aircraft Maintenance. West-Can Inspection is a recognized Airworthiness Maintenance Organiztion No. 79-91 by the Ministry of Transport and Cessa Certification No. C-163. Our AMO and Cessa Certification include Radiography, Ultrasonic, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current and Welder Certification to MIL STD 1595.

Included in our capabilities is the instruction in all Non- Destructive Test Methods at Red River Community College, Winnipeg, Manitoba, and instructional presentation to selective groups and clients, specifically NDT instruction in accordance with Appendik K of CAR 571 and ASNT SNT TC-1A Levels 1 and 2 courses in Radiography, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant.

In addition to our Non-Destructive Testing capabilities, we provide mobile Heat Treating services for the heat treatment and stress relieving of various steel components at the clients facility.
