Provides an impermeable annular seal in vertical & horizontal wells between casing strings or between casing and the wellbore. Applications for this product are preventing cement contamination of sensitive production zones, preventing the expense of squeeze cementing, supporting cement above low pressure formations and isolation of production and injections zones.
This system integrates McAllister's inflatable packer technology and McAllister's EMP providing highly accurate electronic well data, formation production samples and flow rates. This system permits the evaluation of multiple zones with one trip in the well. Multiple packers, specifically designed with Kevlar and steel reinforcing to withstand the rigors of drillstem testing are used to ensure successful wellbore isolation. The net result is an economical method to evaluate well potential.
Provides a positive seal against the wellbore. The IPP is easily adapted to use with coiled tubing by installing pull release or hydraulic release. IPPs are available in two models: Singleset and Multiset. The singleset is designed to inflate, equalize and deflate once per run. The multiset may be inflated any number of times on a single trip in the hole.
