Strategically located on the west coast of North America, Vancouver Shipyards' modern, well-equipped facilities are positioned on the north shore of the sheltered, deep water port of Vancouver, British Columbia. Our facilities are available 24 hours a day to assist with your vessel repairs and scheduled maintenance.
Repair services are centered around two floating drydocks and a Syncrolift marine elevator. These facilities, coupled with large machine shop capability and craneage, enable the yard to handle vessels up to 85,000 DWT. New construction facilities include a major steel forming shop and a large fabrication and assembly hall. The fabrication hall is environmentally controlled, allowing major fabrication of steel or aluminum regardless of weather conditions.
Along with a full complement of experienced tradespeople, Vancouver Shipyards maintains a technical office staffed by highly skilled naval architects, draftsmen and marine engineers.

Vancouver Drydock is located on the north shore of Vancouver Harbour. The facility is operated by Vancouver Shipyards Co. Ltd.

Victoria Shipyards is the largest ship repair company on Canadas Pacific coast, handling vessels up to 100,000 DWT. The company's operating location is the Esquimalt Graving Dock, owned by Public Works and Government Services of Canada. Strategically located in the heart of the busy shipping lanes of the Pacific Northwest, the shipyards highly trained and experienced employees perform virtually every kind of ship construction, repair and conversion. Excellent results are ensured by the companys quality assurance program, certified to Lloyds Register ISO 9001:2000 requirements for Ship Design, Construction, Repair, Conversion, Maintenance and Dry Docking services.
Victoria Shipyards leases property within the confines of the Esquimalt Graving Dock, owned by Public Works and Government Services of Canada. It is a 25 acre site that includes a graving dock and 2,000 feet of deep water wharfage. Three railed cranes provide coverage of these production areas and link them with steel fabrication and the machine, pipe, sheetmetal and electrical workshops.
