Walker Seeds Ltd. has its' own in-house quality control programme that will be documented by ISO in the near future. Having exported since 1982, Walker Seeds Ltd. now exports 98% of all the product it processes. Walker Seeds Ltd. has engaged exclusive agents in Mexico, Taiwan, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, and Italy. However, in countries like Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Chile, Peru, and Costa Rica Walker Seeds Ltd. works through agents on a non-exclusive basis. In other markets such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Spain sales are done directly with the importers and/or through brokers. Walker Seeds Ltd. is currently actively seeking to develop sales in green and yellow split peas as well as oat groats to facilitate production in 1998/99 from a new pea splitting plant as well as a new oats processing plant currently under construction. In addition, expanded sales are welcomed of all products in markets where exclusive sales are not appointed.
