As much of the work had to be done during the nighttime to permit traffic to flow during the day, the potential community noise impacts associated with the planned rehabilitation of Vancouver's historic Lions Gate Bridge were predicted to be substantial. Through the use of alternative quieter construction techniques and the scheduling of the noisiest activities, such as 'rivet busting' for the daytime, noise impacts on neighbouring communities were kept to a minimum so that the crucial night work could proceed.
As a contractor to ERM Consultants, provided on-site community noise impact assessment and mitigaiton services for the Lamma Island (Hong Kong) Thermal Power Plant Extension and for the Hong Kong Disneyland project.
