The firm's founding in 1982 as a sole proprietorship provided land surveying services in Fort St. John. The firm was primarily engaged in petroleum industry related surveys in British Columbia and quickly gained wide recognition as an experienced and competent survey organization.
With a staff of two at its inception, Waberski & Associates underwent a steady growth in both staff and scope of activities. In 1985 with a staff of 13, the corporate structure was changed to meet this growth with the formation of Waberski Surveys Ltd., (Mapping and Engineering Surveys) and the partnership, Waberski & Associates (British Columbia Land Surveyor). The firm continued to expand with the development of a broader range of services, extending our experience and improving our facilities.
In 1988 our corporate structure was changed to reflect our diversification. Waberski Darrow Survey Group Ltd. is a corporate organization wholly-owned by a group of senior employees and the affiliated partnership of Professional Land Surveyors operating as Waberski Darrow, which is responsible for all cadastral surveys in British Columbia. Waberski Darrow Little Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary, responsible for cadastral surveys in Alberta.
The Waberski Darrow Survey Group has established a respected position within the petroleum industry, government and private sector. The firm's founding principle was to provide the personalized service one expects from a small firm. This principle has been retained in their growth by providing highly trained technical and professional personnel to meet your survey requirements.
The firm presently has seven Professional Land Surveyors, office and support staff, totalling 55 personnel.
