VoicePrint Canada
Launched in December 1990, VoicePrint Canada is the nations only 24-hour reading service and the flagship division of NBRS (National Broadcast Reading Service) a registered chartiable foundation. Programming consists of full-text readings of timely articles, columns, feature stories from more than 100 Canadians newspapers and magazines. These are packaged in 30-minute topical program segments such as international, national and regional news, sports, business, health, lifestyles and science and technology. It is accessed on the Secondary Audio Program (S.A.P.) of CBC Newsworld by cable subscribers, on audio channels of ExpressVu, Star Choice and Look, and via the Internet at www.voiceprintcanada.com.
VoicePrint Canada provides a number of services available to government and non government agencies inlcuding: Text to Audio -alternate format transcription services, Paid Public Service Broadcasts and commercial advertising to Canada's print disabled community.
