Identification Detect a tag, trigger an action and monitor movement of an asset/item/person (eg. permit access, deny access, set an alarm, page a person). These are the foundation functions of any eXI system from a simple one door system to a more complex computer networked system.
Tracking Maintain a log of the assets/item/person movements for auditing, security, and usage analysis or generate an instant.
Location Ability to locate an asset/item/person with EXI active wireless identification tag.
Association - Associate a person with an asset based on a tag ID and a series of rules.

The company has approximately 2,000 installations across North America primarily in hospitals, nursing homes, educational institutions and commercial locations.By leveraging its wireless networking expertise and technology, eXI has developed indoor wireless networks using the new Bluetooth wireless standard in order to offer more affordable, functional, and convenient wireless networks.
