University of Prince Edward Island

Based on a tradition of over 150 years of academic excellence,
the University of Prince Edward Island is committed to
encouraging and fostering critical, creative and independent
thinking. Our 200-member faculty provides a rich blend of
academic programs in the arts, sciences, business, education,
nursing and veterinary medicine to over 3200 full and part-time
students. Graduate programs are offered in biology, chemistry,
education and veterinary medicine. UPEIs thriving research
community is enhanced by national and international partnerships
and is supported through its success in national grant
competitions. The quality of our people and programs is
reflected in results of graduate satisfaction surveys. Graduates
give UPEI top marks for quality of teaching, access to faculty,
