Trigon Mapping Resources Ltd. provides data conversion,
digitizing, scanning, data structuring, quality control and map
creation services. It is a company of GIS consultants with a
firm cadastral background and Geographic Information System
background. With experience in the use of ARC/INFO, Geo/SQL and
Intergraph software and CAD packages such as AutoCAD and
MicroStation, Trigon has hands-on knowledge in producing accurate
topologically structured data for GIS use.

The firm's clientele consists of small private firms, utility
companies, and government agencies from municipal to federal
levels.

Scan Digitizing services are provided effectively using a 1600
dpi full size greyscale scanner and vectorizing software to
create digital files from hard copy drawings. Trigon
is one of a select few companies that have been approved by
Geomatics Canada to be qualified to scan topographic data sets to
government specifications. The company has shown efficiency in
scanning and vectorizing documents ranging from engineering
drawings to thematic maps.

Topological Data Structuring is performed by the ARC/INFO
department. Trigon has completed many structuring projects of all
aspects including datum transformations, tagging, coding,
vertical integration between themes and edge matching. As well,
the company has written many in-house programs in order to
increase the speed and accuracy of this process.

Together with the experience of a sister company, Tri-City
Surveys Ltd., Trigon has the capability to perform all types of
legal and engineering surveys including field data acquisition
and GPS control surveys.
