TRANSELEC INC. specialises in the constuction and maintenance of electric power line networks, as well as the conversion of substations. Since its founding the company has installed more than 3, 000 km of electric power lines, ranging from 120 kV to 735 kV. With their energy and their competence, Transelec specialists have rapidly enlarged their expertise and have undertaken the modification and refurbishing of power lines and substations, the installation of poles as well as various civil engineering works and electrical and mechanical building installations.
As well as work in Canada, Transelec is open to the export market. At the international level, the company has successfully completed large projects in Africa. Firstly we assisted in the installation of a 150kV, 130km line in Mali. Then, in Kenya, we installed two lines (about 600 km), one at 220 kV, the other at 132 kV. At Togo we installed a line at 161 kV. At St. Vincent, in the Caribbean, our experts installed a wooden spill gate. We also constructed bridges in Haiti and a highway in Barbabos.
