Trail Blazer
Trail Blazer is a family owned Canadian based manufacturer of Quality Outdoor Products, marketed in Canada, United States and more than 20 other countries. Headquarters in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Trail Blazer has set the industry standards for quality and performance since it began its operation in 1987.
One of the companies most successful and world renowned
product has been the Take-Down Buck Saw. Originally designed from the earlier wooden buck saw. Trail Blazer designed a light weight collapsible Buck Saw with a Swedish steel wood blade and aluminum framing. In 1990 Trail Blazer was pleased to have the Take-Down Buck Saw chosen by Scouts Canada for their Scout Troops across Canada and still being used today. The product gained popularity in 1992 when the North American Hunting Club
field tested and recommended the Take-Down Buck Saw to all their members. The product increased its popularity again in 1995 when Trail Blazer was presented the 1995 Source Canada Vendor Award, recognizing excellence in Canadian Manufacturing.
Responding to their enthusiasm, Trail Blazer began to expand their product line to feature a broader selection of Outdoor Quality Products. The Xtend-A-Saw is design with a Teflon coated blade and finger molded handle grip. The Stainless steel locking mechanism locks the blade in the open or closed position and a built in socket excepts any universal threaded extensive pole. In 1997 this product was also chosen by Scouts Canada for their Scout Troops across Canada. The Xtend-A-Saw is very popular in several
markets due to its versatility, such as Lawn & Garden, Archery, Camping and more. In 1995 this product was also field tested and recommended to the members of the North American Hunting Club.
After a very successful launch of the Xtend-A-Saw, at the 1995 Shot Show in Las Vegas, the Xtend-A-Blade and Xtend-A-Pole joined Trail Blazer's line of Outdoor Quality Products. This Xtend-A-Blade has been carefully designed with a stainless steel multi-purpose knife blade and a shark tooth saw blade to provide the fast-cutting action required. A stainless push button keeps the blades locked in the open or closed positions for safety. A built in socket is install for
any universal extension pole. A cordura sheath with belt loop is included for convenience.
The Xtend-A-Pole offers five various lengths of fibreglass extension poles. These non-conductive poles are made with safety and strength in mind. The poles come with a universal thread for many uses including Trail Blazer's Xtend-A-Products.
Today due to growing popularity, Trail Blazer offers custom laser engraving for identification of your company or organization. This service is used by Whitetails Unlimited, Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited and more. Trail Blazers is proud to become a corporate sponsor of the Physically Challenged Bowhunters of America and Outdoor Writers of Canada.
Trail Blazer has produced and entered their Web Site on the internet, having many inquiries from Finland, Germany and other countries.
