Threshold Technologies provides a range of technical and
business services relating to special crop production to the
processing of biological materials. Specific strengths lie in
the area of food processing and the recovery of saleable
components from waste materials. Our company also works with
small and medium sized companies by providing the technical
component of business plans and in conducting technical audits
to increase operating efficiencies. Recently we have developed
both expertise and product in support of the expanding
agroforestry industry. In addition, we have worked with foreign
companies seeking business partnerships in Canada. Dr. McEwen is
a Past President of the Canadian Institute of Food Science and
Technology and was formerly the Director and Chief Operating
Officer of the Canadian Food Products Development Centre.
