Thought Technology Ltd.

COMPANY HISTORY A Legacy of Innovation

Thought Technology Ltd. is the brainchild of Dr. Hal Myers and
Lawrence Klein, who combined their professional skills with
interests in psychology, biomechanical engineering and athletics
to create biofeedback equipment that was more user-friendly and
portable. Their initial effort, launched nearly a quarter of a
century ago, produced the GSR 2, the worlds first handheld
biofeedback device for the clinician, consumer and athletic
markets. The GSR 2 is based on the principle that stress levels
could be precisely measured electronically by translating tiny,
tension- related changes in the skin pores into a rising or
falling tone. Over a quarter of a million GSR 2s have been sold,
many of which are still in use today.

In 1980, the GSR 2 earned an impressive endorsement from Dr.
Hans Selye, the Father of Stress. Dr. Selye recommended the
use of the GSR 2 in any stress management program. Since then,
numerous leading clinicians from major medical institutions have
developed home training programs designed to work in conjunction
with the GSR 2 . Thought Technologys GSR 2 and other
biofeedback devices have been integrated into the training
programs of thousands of Olympic and professional athletes as a
way to enhance performance and rehabilitation.

Today, Thought Technology designs, manufactures and markets a
full line of biofeedback equipmentfrom sophisticated, multi-
channel computer-based systems to portable stand-alone devices
for muscle assessment and re-education, psychological monitoring
and training.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT Our Continuing Commitment

To ensure that Thought Technologys history of innovation
continues, we dedicate over 20% of our annual sales revenue
toward R&D, employing engineers, programmers and technicians.
While our primary focus is the creation of products that fill a
need in the marketplace, we also devote a substantial portion of
those resources to improving existing products in order to keep
pace with the latest research and technology as it becomes
available. In addition, we sponsor and assist in the design of
various research projects encompassing a wide array of clinical
applications, simultaneously helping people and obtaining
valuable clinical feedback that further contributes to the
development and improvement of our products.

PRODUCTION Setting the Bar High...Then Clearing It!

No matter how well-conceived our designs are, ultimately theyre
only as good as our manufacturing processes. Thats why weve
made a significant investment in our production facilities over
the past several years. These actions, accompanied by our own
dedication, have enabled us to achieve quality standards that
meet the levels set by ISO9001, its European Union counterpart
EN46001 and all USA FDA QSR standards... in every operational
phase.

Our design and manufacturing resources and expertise are
available to other companies for private labelling.

Weve also established facilities in both the United States and
Canada, allowing us to bring products to market faster and
service the ones that are currently in use more effectively. The
result of this effort has been to provide our customers with a
higher level of quality.

SALES & MARKETING Providing The Tools That Make A Difference

Weve made a long term commitment to provide the highest quality
biofeedback to a wide array of clinicianspsychologists,
psychiatrists, physical therapists, primary care physicians,
urologists and OB/Gyns. Because we believe that this rapidly
growing field promises to become a mainstay of medicine in the
21st centurysimilar to the role played by surgery and
pharmaceuticals in the 19th and 20th centuriesweve dedicated
ourselves to shaping the course of that growth through
education, effective marketing and impeccable service.

Toward this end, we sponsor numerous seminars and workshops on
electromyography, EEG and the other modalities in the treatment
of conditions such as incontinence and rehabilitation. Working
with leading clinicians, weve developed a series of training
protocols, as well as other instructional materials to help
facilitate the use of our instrumentation. Were also the
founding corporate member of the Biofeedback Foundation of
Europe, an association of clinicians and researchers dedicated
to disseminating information on biofeedback and its many
applications throughout Europe and the Eastern Hemispere, which
Thought Technology helped establish in 1997.

Our products are sold through a worldwide distribution network
of dealers and retailers in over 80 countries.

WHATs NEXT? A Hand In the Present, An Eye Toward the Future

In anticipation of future needs, Thought Technology is currently
developing several new products. Whether its a dual-channel EMG
designed to aid in the treatment of incontinence, a telemetry
device able to send data to a PC or more home training products,
Thought Technology will continue to lead the way to the future
with a full line of advanced instruments.

Its all part of whats made Thought Technology a leader:
innovation, a relentless pursuit of quality and, most
importantly, a dedication to improving quality of life.

'The ability to see such a clean EMG signal simultaneously as
RMS, raw, median frequency and spectral analysis on the FlexComp
gives physical medicine specialists a unique tool for diagnosis
and treatment.'
Gabriel E. Sella, MD, MPH

'In our work with repetitive motion injury, Thought Technology's
instrumentation offers mobility and the unique ability to record
and do feedback at the worksite. In addition, for teaching and
clinical applications to develop effortless breathing, the
instruments perform flawlessly.'
Erik Peper, PhD

'When you are seeing thousands of patients, it's nice to have
the quality signal and durable performance that shows the
'thought' that goes into your superb products. Our ADD kids have
also flourished with you Mind Over Muscle program.'
Stu Donaldson, PhD

'When working in pelvic floor rehabilitation, your products are
unparalleled in their flexibility, sensitivity, and user-
friendliness. The comprehensiveness of the office hardware and
software, along with home trainers and vaginal and rectal
sensors, make it the ideal system for use in this field.'
Howard Glazer, PhD
