INTRODUCTION

Thompson Conn Limited, incorporated in 1996, is an employee owned consulting firm managed by four professionally qualified shareholders with its head office in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The company has grown steadily since its establishment in 1980 as Conn and Lord Surveying. We presently have a permanent staff of twenty-five people, expanding up to forty during seasonal busy periods and large projects.

The combination of practical experience, sound management, the latest in advanced surveying and computational equipment and software allows Thompson Conn to offer a high standard of varied professional services in a timely and cost-effective manner. This blend of experience and technology allows the successful completion of both large and small projects to a variety of clientele.

Thompson Conn Limited is an equal partner in Terratech Consultants Inc., a Canadian owned company with its head office in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Terratech Consultants Inc. is a consortium of five Maritime owned and managed firms encompassing the strongest surveying firms in the region. Each of the firms that make up Terratech has a wealth of experience and a successful track record in managing large survey projects. The companies that make up Terratech have senior professionals with years of experience and expertise that has given them considerable respect in the business community, particularly with local and regional law firms, survey and engineering firms and contractors.

With more than 225 employees to draw upon, the latest in advanced surveying and computational equipment\software and proven managerial competence, Terratech has the corporate strength to undertake, maintain and support major projects wherever our clients require. With proven backgrounds in engineering, planning and geomatics, Terratech is also able to provide its unique blend of technical skills and experience to these areas as to surveying related assignments.

Thompson Conn has over the years developed an ongoing affiliation with lntermap Technologies (Canada) Ltd. of Ottawa, a Canadian publicly traded company. Thompson Conn Limited, with the assistance of lntermap, can provide the following services:
