Therm-O-Comfort Co. Ltd. has been established for twenty-five years, serving customers in the Ontario market. The company manufactures CELLULOSE FIBRE INSULATION, both dry blown and stabilized, also known as wet spray. In addition, the company also manufactures HYDROSEEDING MULCH which is used to promote the growth of new grass and assist greatly with erosion control. We are listed as supplier of choice by the M. T. O.( Ministry of Transport, Ontario).
In 1999, the company saw fit to develop a complete management team with expertise in finance, financial planning, staff training, human resources, production planning, customer service, sales and marketing. A decision was made to replace the existing manufacturing equipment with custom built computerized equipment. This move was taken to dramatically increase the production capacity, allowing the company to position itself to pursue new marketing opportunities.
The favourable state of the U. S. dollar made our decision to export into the U. S. marketplace a natural "fit".
Our location, in Southwestern Ontario, makes for easy access to MI., OH., PA. and upper New York state.
To assist our existing customers, as well as new prospective customers, the company added a customer service department, staffed with knowledgeable personnel to handle day to day inquiries, order input and delivery tracking. New toll-free phone lines are in place to encourage new inquirers. Our expanded delivery fleet is now providing daily delivery service to the above-mentioned states.
The year 2000 will see the expansion of our trade show participation in Pontiac, MI., Columbus and Cleveland, OH., Grand Rapids, MI., and Palm Springs, Cal.

Manufacture Cellulose Insulation And Hydroseeding Mulch From Recycled Newsprint
Recycled newsprint is processed into cellulose by fiberizing the product, (grinding very fine) and adding boric acid and ammonium sulphate for vermin control and fire retardant. The product is environmentally friendly, safe to install with no special equipment required by the installer. Most common uses are for residential and commercial application in attics and walls. Cellulose also provides an excellent sound barrier. Hydroseeding Mulch is manufactured in the same manner as above without the use of chemical but adding green dye. The product is made into a slurry on a truck-mounted tank, grass seed is added and then sprayed on sides of roads and highways to grow grass. Gemination is usually 10-15 days. Therm-O-Comfort is currently exporting to the U. S. A. and as well discussions are currently under way with prospective clients in South America. In the U. S. A. we have many satisfied clients in MI., OH., PA., and NJ. We are currently marketing our products through distributors to the insulation industry, as well as direct sales to insulation contractors. The Company will entertain strategic alliances and/or joint ventures.
