In the early 60's Peter Sandler began with his Father in the Furniture Manufacturing Business and after 20 years in that business he began seeking new challenges, so in the mid 80's he started Thera-P-Cushion by first developing a cervical bed pillow (THERA-P-SUPPORT CRADLE PILLOW) that is designed to maintain correct posture during sleep, thus helping to relieve tension, neck and back pain. Shortly after developing and selling this pillow to chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and Home Health Care Dealers, Sandler invented and patented in Canada & the U. S. the THERA-P-ANTI-SNORING CRADLE PILLOW which is basically and extension of the support pillow which controls posture exclusively to sleeping in the lateral position. From this new product development Thera-P-Cushion, received a great deal of publicity from newspapers and magazines i. e. NEWSWEEK, NEW YORK TIMES. DUN & BRADSTREET, TORONTO STAR. GLOBE & MAIL, etc. Thera-P-Cushion started exporting its' products to the U. S., Japan, Israel, France and Mexico in the late 80's and sold to customers such as Sears, Amway, The Bay, also to Drug Wholesalers both in Canada and the U. S.

During the early & id 90's Thera-P-Cushion has developed the THERA-P-RELIEF HOT/COLD COMPRESSES, THERA-P-BODY PACK, THERA-P-BACK CUSHION. (All with hot/cold compress inserts) and has just recently developed the THERA-P-PRESSURE RELIEF MATTRESS CUSHION & SEAT that is currently being sold to Medical Supply Wholesales in Japan as well as the Health Care Providers throughout North America. This mattress cushion had received honorable mention as one of the ten best products at the Home Care Rehabilitation Show HCR95 in Tokyo Japan. Currently Thera-P-Cushion is developing the"E-V SUNNY"SOLAR/ELECTRIC (pedal assist) BICYCLE that will encourage the physically challenged, as well as the aging population of the world to keep physically fit and active during retirement years.
