Mad Science operations revolve around developing our core business of bringing exciting hands-on science to children (described further below) but also includes multitude of sales, marketing and business development functions that enable us to maintain a strategic, forward thinking organization on a path of market dominance.

OUR CORE AREAS OF BUSINESS ACTIVITY

Franchise Sales: Through focused marketing activities, our staffs field inquiries from throughout North America and around the world. Our Sales Team screens candidates, provide information and personally meet with Domestic and Master Franchise prospects. Domestic franchisees are usually energetic and entrepreneurial university graduates who focus on bringing Mad Science activities to local children. International Master Franchisees tend to be more sophisticated business people, have extensive contacts throughout their country and who have devised a plan to ensure Mad Science fits into their countrys local culture and business environment. Franchise Support: Once new franchisees are brought in, it is the responsibility of our Support Team to welcome, train and support them. This includes daily communication through phone, fax and e-mail as well as conducting both regional and national conferences. This department also conducts R&D activities to create and implement new and exciting activities for children that are in line with our philosophy and business strategy. Business Development: Focusing on devising long term strategies for aggressive growth. These activities include creating strategic alliances, negotiating corporate sponsorships, managing the Childrens Science Enrichment Foundation and developing contacts in the areas of TV, multimedia, CD-ROM and the Internet. Mad Science Productions: Mad Science Productions specialize in large-scale science spectaculars. These science extravaganzas feature a multi-sensory experience of sound, lighting, laser effects, pyrotechnics, and interactive science for children and parents. Mad Science Productions is also the recipient of a few key industry honors including the prestigious Best New Product award bestowed by IAAPA, The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.

OUR CORE BUSINESS

After-School Programs: Conducted after-school or during lunch hour, children take part in 8 weekly 1-hour sessions during which they create and take home their own model rockets, Mad Science putty, periscopes and lots more. Workshops: Organized as an in-school field trip, teachers bring Mad Science into their classroom as a curriculum supplement in which teachers and children discover together. Mad Science provides all required materials, supplies and lesson plans. Birthday Parties: These high-energy, exciting and interactive presentations make a child most special occasion, unforgettable. Highly trained and enthusiastic Mad Scientists bring all the experiments directly into a home or party room to entertain and enrich children with bubbling potions, vortex generators, slime and spectacular chemical experiments. Special Events: These spectacular and highly interactive science shows are customized to meet client needs while enthralling larger groups of children in school assemblies, summer camps, theme days, scout groups, family entertainment centers, etc.
