The Armstrong Monitoring Corporation
The Armstrong Monitoring Corporation, an Ottawa based, ISO-9001 Registered manufacturer of high quality gas monitoring apparatus, prides itself in meeting needs of industrial, research, environmental, health and safety, and commercial industries.
In the twenty years since its inception, Armstrong has been involved in research, design and commercialization of innovative new technologies and products for a wide range of industries and applications. Armstrongs diverse product line features monitoring equipment ranging from simple, building block sensor elements and transmitters, to complete, integrated, turnkey systems.
The detection and control of carbon monoxide monitoring in parking garages, combustible gas in paper mills and waste water treatment, petroleum leak detection, and other standard HVAC and industrial applications, make up the lions share of Armstrong equipment sales. Systems have, however, found their way into both US and Canadian Navy vessels, border security, the space program, fumigation bubbles, and a host of alternatively diverse and exceptional applications.
Since 1981, Armstrong has retained four fundamental principles in providing quality and value for a worldwide customer base.
Customer Service: Highly skilled staff, pride themselves in their ability to solve technical problems and provide the best solution for customers gas, liquid or materials monitoring applications.
Flexibility: Flexible design encourages solutions to stem not from rigid equipment parameters, but from the ability to adapt systems to a continuously transforming marketplace.
Dependability: Solid research and engineering give Armstrongs product line the durability and dependability required when it can literally mean the difference between life and death.
Cost Effectiveness: Armstrong strives to integrate the latest technological features into its designs, while maintaining affordability for the customer.

Refrigerant Leak Monitors.
The Armstrong Monitoring Corporation has developed a sensor/transmitter unit which, when properly utilized and calibrated, can be used to detect leaks from refrigerant systems, roof-top units, compressors, etc. The sensing system allows leaks to be detected at their early stages, thereby minimizing the quantity of CFC escaping into the atmosphere. The sensor/transmitter units can be wired into an assortment of monitoring panels which can be used to close off ventilation systems, operate solenoids, etc.
Hazardous Gas Sensing System.
The Armstrong Monitoring Corporation offers a wide range of gas detection systems to perform atmospheric monitoring of potential leaks of gas from numerous locations. The sensors are available in a variety of housings for either hazardous or non-hazardous locations, and can be configured with any one of an assortment of monitors for concentration indication, alarming, etc. Gases detected include: chlorine, SO2, H2O, ammonia, and combustibles.
Armstrong's wide range of experience allows it to design and assemble a system incorporating components from a variety of sources. The Armstrong Monitoring Corporation has in-house laboratories for testing and matching of sensing and monitoring equipment to specific applications.
