Textile Rubber & Chemical (TRC) has been operating successfully for over 30 years in its present location in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.
Its clientele is mainly in the carpet, automotive, coating, printing, dipping, adhesive and pulp & paper industries. They are located mostly in Quebec and Ontario with a few in the northeastern United States, Alberta and the Maritimes. Other export markets include the Middle East.
The company is owned by Textile Rubber & Chemical of Dalton, Georgia, which is a privately owned company in operation for about 40 years. Each company (parent & affiliate) has its own R&D staff and line of products.
The company has been profitable for over a decade. This has been accomplished by putting emphasis on R&D, diversification, creating new markets, modernization and hiring highly technical staff. Textile Rubber & Chemical strives to continuously create new products and new niche markets and provide its customers with tailor made specialty chemical compounds not found in a commodity marketplace.
The company's Technical Staff is widely experienced and possesses excellent credentials. The Sales and Technical Service Department is headed by a manager who has been with the company for almost 30 years and is a Chemical Technologist. The V. P. & General Manager is actively involved in the company's large accounts. He has a M. Sc. in Chemical Engineering and our Ontario Distributor who has a B. Sc. in Chemistry and an MBA. The Technical department includes a senior researcher who has a Chemical Engineering Degree and a Ph. D. in Chemistry. Additional support is derived from the Plant Manager and Director of Engineering who is a Chemical Engineer.
The Company is in the process of establishing manufacturing facilities and distributorships in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
