Over half of Teshmont's work is for clients outside of North America. Teshmont has provided services in 18 countries and has been involved in projects representing over 50% of the world's installed capacity of HVDC transmission systems.
Teshmont is active in international technical organizations such as the International Conference on Large Voltage Electric Systems (CIGRE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). Teshmont is a founding sponsor of the Manitoba HVDC Research Centre.
