TESHMONT CONSULTANTS INC. specializes in providing engineering
consultancy services for extra high voltage ac (EHVAC) and high
voltage dc (HVDC) transmission systems. Services include
feasibility studies, power system studies and analysis, design,
procurement, construction supervision, commissioning and project
management.

Teshmont is currently engaged in a number of ac and dc projects.
Engineering services are being provided for a 500/400 kV ac
interconnection between Egypt and Jordan, upgrading of the
Nelson River Transmission System in Canada, investigation of
extension of the dc system in New Zealand, long range planning of
the South China Power System, studies and design of the
Tian-Guang 500 kV, 1800MW DC Transmission System in China
engineering services for the DC Transmission Associated with the
Tian-Guang Transmission in China and the HVDC interconnection in
Malaysia and Thailand.

Over half of Teshmont's work is for clients outside of North
America. Teshmont has provided services in 18 countries and has
been involved in projects representing over 50% of the world's
installed capacity of HVDC transmission systems.

Teshmont is active in international technical organizations such
as the International Conference on Large Voltage Electric Systems
(CIGRE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers
(IEEE). Teshmont is a founding sponsor of the Manitoba HVDC
Research Centre.
