Slurry Fracture Injection Slurry Fracture Injection(SFI) is a propietary technology used in the disposal of waste material. This technique is used to dispose of oil field waste material, biosolids, waste water treatment sludge, NORM, and incinertor ash. The waste is mixed with water to create slurry, then injected down a disposal well at insitu fracturing pressures. This technique is less expensive and far more secure than any current landfill disposal operation.
